Although you can see it in the picture featured in this puzzle, Le Mont-Saint-Michel is a tidal island and mainland commune in Normandy, France. Started during the 10th century, the Benedictine abbey has numerous architectural marvels from West Roman empire, roman and Gothic styles. The abbey is among the most visited cultural sites in France and it's a UNESCO world heritage site.
